Publish an Official Profiles & Listings Page So AI Links to the Right You

I will show you how to make one simple page that lists your official profiles and listings. This helps ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok link to the right accounts and recommend you with confidence.

Publish an Official Profiles & Listings Page So AI Links to the Right You

Why this one page matters

I want to show you something important. Many brands work hard on Google, Instagram, and maps. But when someone asks an AI tool about them, the AI links to the wrong profile. Or it links to an old page. Or it picks a competitor with a similar name.

Here is what I see every day: the web has many copies of you. Old Yelp pages. Wrong Facebook pages. A second Google Business Profile someone made by mistake. AI tries to connect these pieces. If the links do not match, you do not show up.

The fix is simple. Make one page on your site that lists every official profile and listing. Clear. In one place. This gives AI a source of truth. It can map your brand to the right accounts fast.

Action today: create a draft page on your site called “Official Profiles & Listings.” Keep it empty for now. You will fill it in next.

What to put on the page

Keep it simple. Use short lines. Do not hide this info in images. Write it in plain text so AI can read it.

Start with your exact business name, address, phone, and main email. Then list each platform you use. For each one, add:

  • The profile link (full URL).
  • The handle or username (exact spelling).
  • The platform ID if there is one (like a Page ID or Business ID).
  • A short note if there are duplicates to ignore, like “Old profile, do not use.”

Good platforms to include: Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing Places, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Nextdoor, Houzz, Thumbtack, Angi, HomeAdvisor, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, OpenTable (if you are a restaurant), and any trade directories you use.

Add your map links too. One link to Google Maps. One link to Apple Maps. Use your exact pin. Do not shorten links.

Action today: list your top five official profiles with full links and handles on your new page.

Clean, match, and remove confusion

AI likes clean signals. Make sure your name, address, and phone match across all profiles. Same format. Same punctuation. Same hours and website link. If your logo or cover photo is very old in one place, update it.

If you see a duplicate listing you do not control, claim it if you can and close it. If you cannot, say so on your page. Example: “There is an old Yelp page at this link. It is not in use. Please use the official link above.” Simple notes like this help AI avoid mistakes.

Last week I checked a handyman in Austin. ChatGPT linked to his old Facebook page with a different phone number. He added an “Official Profiles & Listings” page, then set his correct Facebook link there. Two weeks later, AI tools started showing the right link.

Action today: pick one platform with messy info and make it match your main name, address, and phone.

Make the page easy for AI to find

Put a clear link to this page in your site footer. Name it “Official Profiles & Listings.” Link to it from your Contact page too. On each profile, check that your website field points to your main site. If you can add a second link in the bio or description, point it to this new page. This creates a clean loop. AI sees that your site links to your profiles, and your profiles link back to your site.

Do not hide this page behind sign-ins or pop-ups. Keep it open. Keep it short. Update it when you add or remove a platform. If you use a team tool like Linktree or a link-in-bio page, still keep this page on your own domain. Your site is the source of truth.

Build it in 20 minutes: a simple template

Here is a simple outline you can copy:

  • Title: Official Profiles & Listings for [Your Business Name]
  • Business info: Name, address, phone, email
  • Maps: Google Maps link, Apple Maps link
  • Profiles: one line per platform

Example: “Instagram — @yourhandle — https://instagram.com/yourhandle”

  • Notes: “These are our only active profiles. If you see others, they are not us.”
  • Date of last update

Keep the style plain. No fancy words. No long stories. This page is a directory, not a brochure. Update it every time you open or close an account. If you change your name or move, update all platforms, then update this page last.

Action today: publish your page, even if it has only five links. You can add more later.
