Publish a Clear “Languages We Speak” Page So AI Sends You the Right Customers

Many people ask AI for help in their own language. If your site shows the languages you speak, AI can match those people to you. I will show you exactly what to write and where to put it.

Publish a Clear “Languages We Speak” Page So AI Sends You the Right Customers

I want to show you something important. Many people do not ask in English. They ask AI in Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, French, or sign language needs. If your site says the languages you speak, AI can pick you fast. If your site is silent, AI guesses. You miss real customers.

Why a “Languages We Speak” page works in AI

Here is what I see every day: a great local business that helps many people, but their site says nothing about language. Someone asks, “Find a plumber near me who speaks Spanish.” AI looks for proof. If it does not find clear words, it will not choose you.

I checked a dentist last week. The team spoke Spanish and Vietnamese. But the site did not say it. ChatGPT suggested a competitor who had one short line: “Spanish spoken here.” That one line won.

Do this today: write a list of every language your team can use with customers. Include sign language if you offer it.

What to put on the page

Make one simple page. Call it “Languages We Speak.” Keep the words clear and short.

What to include:

  • A simple list: English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, ASL (American Sign Language), etc.
  • Names and roles: “Ana (front desk), Carlos (technician).”
  • Hours for each language: “Spanish: Mon–Fri 9–5 by phone and chat.”
  • How to contact: phone option numbers, WhatsApp, email, in‑store help, video relay for ASL.
  • Plain sentences in each language. Keep it short. Example in Spanish: “Hablamos español. Pida a Ana cuando llame. Podemos programar su cita hoy.”
  • Service notes: “We can translate quotes.” “We can join a three‑way call with an interpreter.”
  • For multi‑location brands: show which location speaks which language.

Short story: a repair shop added “We speak Polish. Ask for Marta.” Two weeks later, AI answers in Polish started showing that shop by name. The change took 15 minutes.

Do this today: write 6–10 short lines that cover the list above. Keep it human. No fancy words.

Make it easy for AI to read

AI needs clear signals. Give them in simple ways.

  • Page title: “Languages We Speak” (and add your city). Example: “Languages We Speak — Austin.”
  • URL: yoursite.com/languages or /we‑speak‑languages.
  • Use real text, not only images. If you show icons, still write the words.
  • Add a short line with your service and city in each language. Example: “Reparación de electrodomésticos en Austin. Hablamos español.”
  • Link this page in your header or footer. AI finds linked pages faster.
  • On your Google Business Profile, add language notes in the “From the business” section. Repeat the key line. Do the same on Apple Maps and Yelp.
  • Avoid flags. Flags do not equal languages. Use words.
  • If you have several locations, list languages per location on that page, and link to each location page.

Do this today: publish the page with a clear title and link it from your site menu.

Simple copy you can use today

Here is a short template. Change the words to match your team.

  • Title: Languages We Speak — [Your City]
  • Intro: We want to serve you in your language. Here is how to reach us.
  • English: We speak English. Call 555‑123‑4567.
  • Spanish: Hablamos español. Pida a Ana. Horario: Lun–Vie 9–5. WhatsApp disponible.
  • Mandarin: 我们会说中文。请找李。周一至周五 9–5。可以发信息。
  • Arabic: نحن نتحدث العربية. اطلب أحمد عند الاتصال. من الاثنين إلى الجمعة 9–5.
  • ASL: ASL available by video. Text 555‑123‑4568 to schedule.
  • Notes: We can translate quotes. We can join a three‑way call with an interpreter. Same‑day help for urgent jobs.
  • Last updated: [Month Year]

Do this today: paste this template into a new page, add your real names, hours, and numbers, then publish.

Keep it current and test it

Set a reminder every 3 months. Update staff names, hours, and channels. Add a “Last updated” date so AI trusts it. When a new person joins who speaks another language, add them the same day.

Then test. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok in each language: “Who near me fixes [service] and speaks [language]?” See if your brand appears. If not, your page may be hard to find, or the wording is not clear.

That is why I built FoxRadar — so you can see in 60 seconds whether ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok know your brand and what they say about your language support.

Do this today: run a quick check, then adjust your page title, first lines, and links if you do not show up.
